Condolences To Ghana/Nigeria

.
My Sincere Condolences to all the Life Lost in Ghana and Nigeria this past weekend with the plane crash.
.

On June 2nd 2012 - Saturday night, a Nigerian Boeing 727 cargo airliner crashed in Accra, the capital of Ghana, slamming into a bus and killing 10 people. That plane belonged to Lagos-based Allied Air Cargo.

.

On Sunday June 3rd 2012,  Dana Air flight from Abuja to Lagos crashes killing all 153 people on board and an unknown number of people on the ground. Investigators have begun looking into the cause.

.

My out goes out to all the family mourning such great loss in both countries. Personally i feel airlines should publish to public service history of their aircraft to the public and how old the planes are. This information should be accessible to all passengers. We cannot have tragedies like this ever again.
.
Among the many lifes that were lost including children are the following photos i got.
.
This Mom (Maimuna Ayene) lost her life with these 3 gorgeous kids and her own mother. She was visiting from USA for the 1st time with her kids to attend a wedding back home in Nigeria. I cried like a baby when i saw this. I love kids so this hurts me extremely bad.
.
Oluchi Onyenyiri & her two kids were also on the plane.
Ayodele Cole and Wife, Ngozi. They left behind these 3 young kids
(If anyone knows how i can donate to a fund for these kids please let me know if you know a family member I can reach out to).
Kunbi Adebiyi
Dunni Doherty
 Amina Bugaje
Amaka Awani
.
 Ehime Aikhomu.

.
Some of the Air Hostesses who who were on the flight (so pretty)
.(if i made a mistake with any of the names as to who is who, I apologize, please correct me)
.
And to the foreigners in Africa (You know who you are) who think you can serve us Africans with inferior service and products just for profit, know that your days are numbered. This plane could have easily been fixed when you saw the problems for a while. And to the west do not sell your faulty Junk to 3rd world. We are humans just like you.
.
Dana Air MD-83 was a disaster in the making. Unloaded by a U.S.-based company, Alaska Airlines,  the plane had seen numerous service failures since its manufacture in 1990
.
Problems with the MD-83  in Alaska:
On November 4, 2002 the aircraft - then owned by US-based Alaska Airlines - developed faults and had to make an emergency diversion due to smoke  in the cabin area..

  .

On August 20, 2006, it was again evacuated after landing at the Long Beach, CA again due to smoke in the cabin area. During the post event airplane inspection, maintenance personnel found the wire bundle damaged in the mid-cargo pit ceiling at station 750 due to chafing and subsequent arcing of the Over Wing Heater Blanket system. They also found that wires in some bundles were damaged to the point of disconnection/separation, while other wire bundles sustained thermal melting to their outer insulation jacket.

.
Concerned about potential risks to its air worthiness, Alaska Airlines parked the aircraft until Sept. 11 2008 to carry out maintenance on the plane.
.
On February 2009 Alaska Airlines shifted the burden to Nigeria when it sold the ill-fated plane.
.
Problems with the Dana MD-83 in Nigeria:
On May 3 2012, a Lagos station manager said the aircraft  needed to be grounded for a check-up but that alarm was ignored.
.
On May 11, 2012, the same Lag/Abj aircraft  had an air return and emergency landing at the MM2 airport. Passengers disembarked
.
On May 25, 2012, the same plane abandoned its La/Calabar flight, making another air return. Engine failure was reported. No casualties.
.
On June 3, while on a final approach to the runway,  the aircraft rammed into a power line, crashed into a built-up area about 5-6 nautical miles from touch down. It  burst into flames, killing all 153 passengers on board and 30 on ground.
.
Personally I think Alaskan Airlines should be sued. This lawsuit should definitely include Alaskan Airlines and of-course those penny pinching Indians (who treat Africans like shyt) who own Dana.
.
I will do some further research on the plane 727 Nigerian allied air cargo (and the prior problems it may have had) which also failed and crashed in Ghana killing 10 of our citizens on Saturday June 2nd 2012. Though the number of lifes lost may not have been as many, it is still a great loss to everyone and should not happen again. This is the 2nd time ever i have ever heard of a plane crash in the history of my nation Ghana and this should be the last. This should be the last in any nation period. Aviation Ministers/Engineers who give the green lights to allow those faulty "AIR COFFIN" airlines to fly should be held responsible.

I hear you my sister! I have heard of a lot of Planes, Trains, Boats (you know cars alike) being used here in North America and then taken to Africa as if we are recycling ground. Last year SUBWAY TRAINS from Toronto were sent to Nigeria after more than 25 years of use.

I do not mind vehicles, bikes etc, but my biggest worry has been this AIRPLANE recycling. One big problem is once abandoned and no longer in production, mechanical/technical support becomes the biggest issue! The manufacturers care less to support old products.... let alone old products 1000000 miles away!

Wake up Africa, these people aren't helping us or even wishing us good. If they do, they will then give us NEWER AIRPLANES that they KEEP FOR THEMSELVES.....

RIP all those who have died, but for sure God will punish those who KILL US SOFTLY!
